Munroe's was a general merchandising business founded in Seahurst. Their direct competitor was A Mart. Munroe's goal was to dominate Western Northern Country before A Mart could have a big stake in the area. The first Munroe's was built in the Westwood Shopping Complex alongside a Quick Buger.
