Southpoint is the largest city and county seat of Snowcadia County. Southpoint is a city in the Nation of Aurum in 2nd World. The city is located on Dliet Island.
History[]
Southpoint was the first major city to be established in the southern portions of the Nation of Aurum. It was established before the formation of Aurum itself. For a short period of time, it was the third largest city in 2nd World after Riverbend and Westport.
The town continued to grow around the downtown corridor and focused heavily on water trade. The icy harbor made some shipping hard, but vital for the area and the economy. Until 2013, the only way to enter Southpoint was through road travel. The nearest rail route stopped at Hoth, but in 2013 an underground rail route was constructed to Southpoint connecting the city to all rail locations in Aurum.
